yes i know there are lots of post on it but diff issues this car i traded for a suv which is what i have now the suv and now the tail gate has 3 parts to it the tire rack that swings out thats fine the glass well i need shocks for it to hold it up and the tail gate the issue the place where u put ur key into (keyhole) then turn to unlock the glass then the tailgate well it broke off and will not stay and it will open if u push and turn on it but i can carry the knob around can u replace these or would it be easier to go to the salvage and just take another tail gate

You could just carry it around. What a great conversation piece!  Or, you can replace it. Should be available thru your local GM dealer. Possibly, NAPA or CarQuest, too.
