Spark should be distributed to spark plugs - voltage does get to distributor to make high energy spark for the plugs - on time. You need to have them tested with a test light to be sure current is going across the fuse. Also there is an ASD relay (Auto SHut Down) that will keep it from starting. Look for the relay and look for corrosion. Go to this site and enter the information on the van . Go to the repairs section. It has some really good information. Click here.
