92 S10 Blazer 4.3 stalling Sign In

I am working on a 92 S10 blazer ......fuel pump, injectors, plugs, wires, distributer, button all have been replaced....It still stalls out when warm and when you let it sit for awhile it will start and run for awhile
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: 92 S10 Blazer 4.3 stalling Sign In

i have a 93 S-10 with a 4.3( VIN "W") after an emgine replacement, i had a similar problem. what this problem was: carbon deposits in the "linear EGR valve"-which caused improper fuel mixture signals (THE egr valve "IS A FULLY ELECTRONIC VALVE WHICH IS CONSTANTLY MONITORED AND CONTROLLED BY THE ECM ...WILL MONITOR INPPUT FROM THE TP, MAP, ECT AND PINTLE POSITIONS SENSORS, THEN WILL SEND AN OUTPUT SIGNAL TO THE EGR VALVE INDICATING THE PROPER AMONT OF EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION NECESSARY TO PROPERLY LOWER COMBUSTION TEMPERATURES". in other words, if the pintle in the EGR VALVE is blocked with a carbon deposit, the ECM gets the wrong signal and won't know how to set proper fuel mixture, idle speed, timing and proper HEI function. i don't know what size engine you have, but you may have a "ported EGR VALVE" which acts differently. ONE OTHER SENSOR to check is the "COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR". i have a 92 ISUZU RODEO with a 3.1 FI (VIN "Z" engine) tht acted up and would only start with the acc pedal to the floor, then a rough idle. i replaced the CTS (coolant temp sensor) for a cost of $6.28 and the problem was gone. have the EGR VALVE checked after you replace the CST. PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT.--THANX
