91 Ford Tempo Sign In

Can someone tell me where the oil pan is located on a 91 Ford Tempo? I think it's on the Driver's side and is white/off white on the bottom and looks like the shape of a boot sort of. Can somebody help me? It's leaking what I believe is oil, because it can't be the transmission...I just had that done and the fluid is fine now.

What color is the fluid leaking out?

Re: 91 Ford Tempo Sign In

That's why I'm confused. I just had the transmission pan gasket replaced. Then I get the car home and see it leaking again. Well I took it back to the place, cause I could have sworn it was the trans. fluid. It's a reddish brown color. Well the guy up there told me it's leaking oil and my transmission is not leaking now. Honestly, I trust this guy cause he's worked on previous vehicles for me and he works on my roommates truck. So I don't know, all the leaking lately has got me confused as to what is what.

Then just go get a second opinion. I can't tell you from here what's leaking but anyone that examines it should be able too. It wouldn't be the first time a shop tried to divert the blame on a "comeback".
