ok well i went up to the gas station from my house the car ran just fine, i get back into my car and try to start it but it wont start. so i sit there a minute or 2 and try again and it starts right up. now im driving down the road all the sudden my check engine light comes on then my RPM odometer goes up and then goes down to 0 then the car dies. Now i haven't had the money to get oil to change it in my car, could that be the problem?? cause my check oil light has been coming on, i tried to start the car a few times after and it makes the sound of it wanting to start but it just wont, now i found a bottle of oil at home and put it in and i tried it once after i put the thing of oil in and it still sounded the same, now im pretty sure its not my battery cause all of my lights were on and were not dimmed

An over due oil change in itself will not cause a car too not start or cause a stall. The lack of oil, clean or dirty defiantly will; if this is the case, you may have ruined the engine; have you checked the oil level.
There will be many more questions we’ll need answered; if we’re going to get too the cause of this problem; but check the oil level first and get back to us.

ok well it will be an hour or 2 before i can get that, cause this just happend. so if there is no oil on the dip stick i should add till it can be seen on the dip stick and then try it?

ok i got to my car today many many times, i checked the oil, it was ok, i checked all of the fluids they were all good. So i took a video of me engine when i was trying to start it and took it up to my mechanic, he told me one of a few things can be wrong, #1. engine my spark plugs are not sparking, #2. i might not be getting fuel to my engine, #3. i was turning my key to slowly. well i went back to my car and turned the ignition slow and fast a few times and it was doing the same thing, then i checked to make sure my engine was getting fuel and it was, so i finally checked my spark wire and i was not getting a spark, so he ordered me a coil/ignitor and i think thats what i need cause i took the cover off where my spark wires go to  the top red circle, and it has a spring and a round thing that suppose to turn, but it dose not when its attached to my engine, when i took it off it would spin and spin, but when i put i back on it would not spin, and i tried turning my car on again and the little disc would not turn and that's attached to the bottom red circle. i could not find a picture of the things under the plastic cap so i just hope you know what i am talking about

You may want to take the upper timing cover off and see if the cam is turning when an assistant cranks the engine over. Your description is almost impossible to interpret, but it sounds to me like you removed the distributor cap, cranked the engine, and the rotor was not turning. If I am correct here, check the timing belt as I have described.

Yea, sure does sound like a T belt..........I'm real curious to hear the theory on turning the key too slow though.....

Sidom, it's kind of like the squirrel cage engines in Kias. The faster you want the car to go, the harder you have to kick the cage to get the squirrel to run faster.

ok is there a way to test the Distributor Cap?? cause if it is that i would hope it is

ok i guess my car has 2 ignition systems, and my uncle said that my secondary ignition was shot, so that is what was wrong
