89 mercury tracer/ mazda 323 80amp fuse blows won't start

I have a 89 mercury tracer that has lots of miles 300k 1.9litre(i think). Car runs great. Next morn would not start. Has a light on dash that shows a picture of an engine says "check". When I replace the fuse, that car starts and goes for about 4-5 minutes then sputters and stops.
I cannot tell where this fuse tree that actually has 2/30a fuses, 2/60a fuses and 1 80 amp fuse connects too.
If someone could steer me in the right direction you would be doing this umpire a great favor.
