89 ford escort fuel injector

 we have a 89 ford escort that the fuel injector keeps going out on. It was a brand new injector and the battery went dead bought new battery and now injector no good. the motor is1.9. does anybody have an idea what could be causing this?

What is the injector doing or not doing? Usually an injector will leak off or partially clog. You may have another problem that is your root problem. We need more information on what is happening with the car to help you more. Thanks.
