87 nissan maxima idles high

87 nissan maxima v 6 , automatic trans, 167,000 mi,
engine just started to idle high, 1,800 rpm in park even after engine reaches operating temp. should be around 1000 rpm. no check engine light has come.

Check for vacuum leaks and air cleaner assembly in general or anything that looks out of order for now,
