86 s10 blazer 2.8L wont kick over

The tranny went out one day so me and my brother replaced it. We went to go start it and it was running funny sounded like vac lines so i got them straighted out then now it will crank over but wont start we checked the firing order and every thing is ok. It all so is shooting a small flame out of the carb. HAHA. Please help if we dont fix it we dont have a car for the summer....

I think I just saw a picture of your Blazer it it's the one I think it is............ Nice trailer btw....
Considering you had it running I would triple check the firing order & rotation....... You may want to pull #1 plug, bring it up on TDC, then pull the cap and verify the rotor is in fact pointing at #1.
You said you had it running. What happened in between then & now? Was there any other work done to it?
