Take off your distributor cap and see if its wet inside and corroded. If below the rotor is corroded up from the damp then you'd likely need a new module too. Check the electrical plugs, the rubber seals that were used to keep them watertight don't last forever and you may be finding some pins growing green fur. Once all is good on that end find out where the fuel leak is. You may need to clean up the engine bay before starting this work just to have a good view of whats going on with it.
