Search Auto Parts Search 83 eldorado wont start Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Car Troubleshooting 83eldorado New User May 7, 2011, 10:40 PM Post #1 of 3 (2462 views) 83 eldorado wont start Sign In i have a 1983 Cadillac Elorado 4.1 its got just over 100,00 miles. it been sitting for a couple of years and i had to change the cv joints. it started up i drove it to the gas station and had to fill up the tank cause it was left with only a couple of gallons of gas it died on me once at the gas station then mad it home now it wont start. it turns over and the timing is right up it keed backfiring out of the throttel body. does anyone have any ideas for me?
