My question is what is the normal oil pressure reading for a 5.3L V8 in a 2000 chevy tahoe? I think it is reading between 40 and 60. I am no car guy so not sure if this is my oil pressure or what. Just know the gauge has to do with the oil and it looks high but i'm not sure. Thanks for your help everyone. They will show lower when warmed up and just at idle and jump up a bit with some RPMs. Most every engine I know of has mechanical limits to disallow overpresuring. If it's staying within norms now and nothing else noticed it may be just fine.
