Hello I have a new used 2006 Beetle TDI 1.9 lt.It has 112,000 miles and have had it one month. I bought the car for my wife to drive to and from school. She told me it had a vibration and thought it may be the front drive tire. The tires are brand new. I took it for a ride. There is a vibration between about (40-60) mph then goes away above 60. First I shifted to neutral and all was smooth. that rules out the tires. I got up to a stop sign and shifted back to neutral and ran the rpm to about 3500 and the engine is smooth as silk. The vibration feels like is just on the other side of the fire wall by the brake pedal area. I do have some mech. ability but I'm not much into tranys. I hope it is a u joint problem or something less expensive like that. Thanks to any responders
