2006 Outlander - low beam headlight change Sign In

I'm trying to change out my low bean headlight on my Mitsubishi Outlander. Totally understand I'm supposed to disconnect the electrical component and from what I've read there is a tab I'm supposed to be pushing. Big problem! I can't find the tab and my owner's manual doesn't show it either. I don't want to break off any pieces...so what I'm looking for is the spot that I'm supposed to be pushing on.

Thanks

Went to the dealer...no tab to push on 2006 Outlanders.. easiest thing to do is remove the rubber casing and pull the two pieces apart. Pretty tough to do, but no tabs!

I was watching but didn't want to suggest anything that would break it,

Yep---the mechanic showed me what to do and I was afraid I'd break something.
