2006 Hyundai Sonata CEL Sign In

Hi all, new to this(and forums in general) but I am desperate for help. Please forgive me if a similar post already exists.

I purchased a 2006 Sonata GSL, 6 Cylinder, about 3 weeks ago, used, with about 93,800 miles on it. Within 9 hours of picking up the car the CEL came on. Took it to autozone the following morning(the dealership was closed) to run the computer, got the code P0456, small evap leak. They suggested it was the gas cap, which was a bit janky and loose, so I replaced it. The light never shut off. The following day I returned to the dealership where their mechanic looked at it, agreed it was the gas cap and turned the light off. That night, the CEL returned. Called the dealership, brought it back where they told me the gas cap I had purchased wasn't the correct one, put a new one on shut the light off and sent me on my way. Well, the following day the CEL was back. So back to the dealership I go, where they send me down the road to a shop they work with. The code was now reading P0455, large leak. The mechanic at this shop ran a smoke test and said there were no leaks to be seen, could still be the gas cap and to come back tomorrow. In the meantime I went to my own mechanic for some advice, he told me Hyundai's were funny and it's best to get a replacement gas cap from the manufacture because after stock ones don't fit properly. When I returned to the dealers shop the following day I relayed that information and he didn't seem to care, ran another smoke test while on the ground and on the lift and said there were no leaks to be seen, checked the canister through a "trap door" but replaced a canister solenoid, cleared the code and sent me on my way. again. The following day the CEL returned and here I am now, battling with them over whether or not they can fix this car, that won't pass inspection. Does anyone have any advice, input, or encountered a similar problem? I'm desperate for a solution, my warranty is almost up and I'm at a loss on what to do. Could it be the gas cap?

What is really suspicious here is that their smoke test finds no leaks but the car's own system does. Somebody is not looking hard enough.
