2005 accent wont start every time. Sign In

Hello. I have an 05 hyundai accent that does not start every time. when it don't it sounds like the battery does not have enough to turn it over but the volt and load test say battery is good. I have let the car sit doing nothing to it and it starts fine the next day. also jumping it will get it to start. I have tried ground wires and they were fine. It also just had the engine light come on and the auto store put it on the computer and said it was the post cat sensor and it was lean. I tried some fuel injector cleaner but the light came back on. Should I try running more through or is there something else i can try.
Thanks Frank

The no starting can be anything from a starter motor beginning to fail, too cabling or connections. There are a number of test that can be performed; but the problem has to be there doing its thing; while you’re set up to do the tests.
Things like high rate discharge battery, starter draw and voltage drop test of cables and connections are all things that need to be checked. Tested as a complete system is also the best; taking things off and bench testing may not show the root cause.
As for the O2 code; I don’t think any amount of cleaners, are going to help with this? If this were a dirty injector problem or an actual lean condition; both O2 sensors (pre & post) would be showing or possibly setting lean codes.
This could possibly be a bad O2 sensor; that has latched itself lean or is shorted to O2 heater circuit power; constantly signaling a high voltage, back to the ECM?
Back probing O2 signal return circuit with a voltmeter; will give you live data. Monitoring this data’s signal; as you create a rich and lean fuel mixture; will show whether the O2 is still responsive.
If you’re unsure of how to perform these test; I suggest taking the vehicle in and have it diagnosed?
