2005 Nissan Quest sounds like motorcycle	Sign In

I am in need of assistance. My van has been sounding like a motorcycle or something like that under the hood for a while now. Its getting worst. I took it to the machanic and they cannot find the problem. What can it be? All help is welcome! Thanks

I forgot to add it only has 51500 miles and a 3.2L engine

your going to have to try to the best of your ability to describe the sound. is it possible you have an exhaust leak at the manifold????

The only sound it is making is the sound of a motorcycle under the hood...there is no other way to describe it.

Sound like it could be an exhaust related problem. I think this system may have an internal baffel up toward the motor. I am not sure on that but it seems like I have ran into that before in the past on these vans. Take it to an exhaust shop and have them check it. Tell them you are looking to correct the noise only and are wondering if it involves the exhaust system. Good Luck
