2005 Dodge Magnum - Front end noise

2005 Dodge Magnum se
A clunking noise occurs in the drivers side front wheel well when going over small bumps such as pot hole repairs. There is no other trouble, steering and alignment seem fine. There is no noise at all when going over smooth surfaces. I took off the left front wheel and inspected the area, nothing appears to be broke or loose.

Have same problem with my 05 RT. i had a similar sound with my old explorer and that turned out to be the stab link. was fairly obvious as it had sheared in half. Had the tire off on the magnum and all seems fine. Suspecting something with the ball joints.
has anyone tried replacing the ball joints and did it work?

I've had some Chrysler's with bad sway bar mounting bushing. They didn't look oblonged, cracked or bad in any way but they were giving a clunking noise over bumps. To verfiy I took the bushing off, flipped it around backwards & put it back on the sway bar and the noise was gone.
It that is the case for you replace the bushings both of them, don't leave it that way.

Just don't tell them you got them from CarJunky or they may put you in a straight jacket and have you removed from the premises! LOL!

No prob there Tom.... Loren's got my back on this one & explained to me the "procedure".
He said to just go in & order, they'll "pretend" to not know what i'm talking about. Then I do the secret code, I believe he said the chicken dance & bark, then they'll hook me up 
Oh yea,,, double shot expresso, here I come.... You guys need anything????
