2004 malibu car alarm sounds off every time i open driver door

Every time I go to but my key into the driver door to unlock the car or simply just get into it if the car is unlocked, my alarm sounds off and i have to put the key in the ignition for it to turn off. I need to know how to disarm this or advice on what I should do so that I can stop recieving dirty looks from my neighbors or people around me.

You should be able to disarm the CTD system with the remote. If you don't have the remote any more, try locking the car manually or with the key. Using the power door lock button to lock your doors arms the CTD.....
