Just got the car about a month ago. Whenever I hit ANY kind of bump, the rear end wiggles all over the place. I can hit a pot hole at like 25 and it jumps on me....the transition on highways from bridge back to road, rear end gets squirrelly as hell. The other day, I was on the highway, doing about 65 in the rain, went to pass a car, hit a bump and ended up facing northbound in the southbound lane...not fun. Theres a little bit of a knock when I hit bumps, but nothing obscene. It could use some new rear tires, but I woudnt think that would cause it to kick that bad. Asked a guy at Goodyear, he thought maybe broken rear sway bar. I dont know a great deal about cars, so I have no clue. All I know is I really need to get this figured out before winter gets here, because, honestly, at this rate, I'm scared ****less to drive this thing on snow and ice. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You really need to take it into a shop ASAP. They can put it up on a lift and inspect the suspension and steering components and tell you what is faulty. It ain't worth your life or someone else's to keep driving it that way. If your tires are worn out, you should get new one also. When they are down or below the wear bars, you can run into a hydroplaning condition. Which is probably what you experienced. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
