When my ac is on, sometimes I hear a terrible grumbling/grinding/purring noise from under the glovebox. The only way to get it to stop is by shutting off and turning back on my ac. I find that these noises are triggered when I hit a bump in the road or I make a sharp turn. Any ideas on what may be the cause? Mileage: 140,000 Engine size: 3.8L

? You are probably hearing the blower motor and fan speed should change the noise. If so a new blower would usually be the fix, T

I'd pull the blower motor out and make sure there is nothing caught in it before replacing it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
