Please help! Dealership wanted over 500.00 to replace pinion seal on rearend of Explorer. Went to retired mechanic and he replaced seal, didn't charge as much. First time I drove the vehicle and got over 60 miles per hour, it had bad vibration in rear. Help. I'm making payments on this vehicle and don't have money to spare...what could have happened or is there a quick easy fix. Oh, yeah..did I mention I'm a 51 year old single female and don't know what to do. Can I drive it, maybe low speed, until I get it fixed?

my guess is that when he removed the pinion to replace the seal, he didn't reset the pinion correctly. __________________________________________________ 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2002 Ford Ranger 2004 Toyota Corolla 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1
