I have a 2004 Chevy Suburban. My heat and air doesnt work. I have had it to the shop 8 times in two years and the chevy dealorship doesnt know whats wrong with it. They have adjusted the actuators, changed the control panel and replaced the water pump. Most of the problem is the drivers side blows out engine heat at me. Sometimes the air will work but not usually. If I turn off my egnition and restart it most of the time it will "reset: itself and work for a few minutes. It always quits working and goes back to motor heat within 2 minutes though. This has been going on for 2 years ! The heat doesnt work in the winter either. Its not as bad though because most of the time the real climate control will work and I have motor heat coming out at me.
This is really really rough in the summer time though because heat comes out and it is hot !
Does anyone have any ideas ? My car has separate climate controls for passenger and driver and also rear ! Frown

Sounds like you have electrical issues with blend door motor, heater control unit or related wiring. I don't have wiring diagrams to look at for your specific vechical to give me a better idea of how the system works. Someone els here might have more insight into what's going on.
