2004 Cadillac Deville While driving, I rolled my driver's power window all the way down. Now it won't roll back up at all. If I press the auto-up or auto-down button, I can hear the window's electric motor turn for a few seconds and then shut off. Also, accompanying creaking sound when window motor first turns. Any trick to at least get this window pulled up so I can drive in the rain? Will this be an expensive repair? Do I need to take to dealer? Thank you for any advice. It will be truly appreciated.

It sounds like your regulator has come apart. You're pretty much dead in the water now until the door is taken apart and repaired. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
