2003 Saturn VUE radiator hose leak

I replaced the upper radiator hose on my 2003 Saturn VUE AWD with 3L V6 because i detected a leak coming from the engine side connection. When removing the old hose from the engine something seemed to give way and now with the new hose on antifreeze is pouring out of the engine where the hose connects. How much trouble did I create? Any idea on a fix or approx. cost? Thanks for your help.
