2003 Ford escape airbag light and electrical short

I have been experiencing the same problem with the airbag light on my Ford Escape. After reading some of the postings here I went and checked under the seat. There is a clip where the harness clips together. This clip was loose so I pushed it back together and it solved the problem. Less than a day later, a new problem surfaced. The truck would not start yesterday morning, appeared to have a dead battery. My wife had a friend come and boost it for her as I was at work. The next morning the truck started fine but the ABS light came on stayed on a few minutes then went off. A few minutes later it came back on and stayed on. At the same time the radio was turning itself on and off, the digital odometer went off and came back on, and the headlights dimmed. my wife drove to work and at dinner time the truck required another boost. She left it running over dinner to charge the battery. After work the truck started fine and all the problems seem to have disappeared although I am sure they will return shortly. has anybody experienced any issues with eletrical shorts that could cause these issues.
