This was a company-wide decision. As you remember, there was a lot of 'press' regarding roll-overs, although no U-Haul equipment was involved. My personal opinion is that it wasn't the vehicle, but the drivers. Just like the Pinto back in the day, with fires when rear ended. Wasn't the Pinto fault, but the moron that rear ended it. Soooo, U-Haul didn't want to take any chances. Same with Jeep Wranglers with soft tops. (they shouldn't be towing anything, anyway). For more claification, you can check at UHaul.com.
