2002 Grand Prix Electrical problem??

I have a 2002 Pontiac GP/SE with 105,000 miles on it. A few weeks ago, I noticed my a/c fan would cut off and on with no reason. It would be blowing fine, then stop. Or, I would start the car, the fan would not work, but come on later while I'm driving. My husband found that if I started the car and it would not blow, it would start blowing when I turned the ignition just a hair forward while the engine was running. What is it? And...what kind of repairs can I expect? Thanks!

Could be a bad blower motor but it will have to be tested when the problem is present. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Replace the ignition switch. Common problem. When the blower isn't working the DIC (driver's information center) and the headlamps won't work either. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
