I just changed the gauges in my truck now speedometer does not work what may cause this?

your going to have to eloborate a little on what you did when you swapped gauges.
other then that is your speedo cable driven or electronic? if its cable driven make sure its seated in the back of the gauge properly and not kinked anywhere. if its electric make sure you connected the harness and make sure the gauge didnt ground it self out.
