I have a 2001 Legacy with 85,000 miles and have been experiencing some problems lately. About a month ago on a trip I was taking after about a hundred miles my front dash light started to go on (ABS, Brake, Battery, Check Engine, ect...) and my car slowly lost power and went dead. The AAA truck tried to jump start it and it did start but slowly lost power again. I had the car towed back to my home where the following day it did start and I took it to my service station and had it checked out. The mechanic said the battery and alternator were fine when checked and he could not replicate the issue again. The car has been running fine on short drive but if I leave it sitting for a couple of days and start it up the ABS, Brake, Battery, Check Engine light come on for a short while (while driving ) then go off . If you could help me out with finding out what the issue could be I would be grateful.
