2001 Silverado message center blink red

2001 Silverado message center blink red Sign In
The battery icon for the message center comes on red at startup. only brief then goes away. It does not give a message. The amps on the battery show good. Shoudnt it tell me what my problem is in the message center? I dont want to wait till it is a major problem. If anyone can help thanks.
