2001 Sentra no marks on timing chain

I have a 2001 Nisan Sentra engine size 1.8. The head gasket blew so I replaced that. When attempting to put the car back together I realized that the timing chain has no marks on it anywhere. I used a Nissan Sentra manual to help in the process. It gave me information on how to not mess up the timing which I followed but it didnt work. I am able to find top dead center but cannot figure out how to do the timing with no markings on the chain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
