I have a 2001 Saturn S series 1.9 liter 4dr. the car cranks and turns over but will not fire. I have checked the fuel pressure, no issues, and i can hear the fuel pump kick in. I have also replaced the spark plugs and tested for spark and there are no issues. I have replaced the CPS (Crank Position Sensor) and the car still turns, but won't fire. i had a friend hook it up to a diagnostic computer and we got a no start issue with code P1599D (this is why we changed the CPS, but it didn't fix it). Any ideas how i can get this vehicle running?

Were you expecting the crystal ball method?

I have to admit I'm a little confused here. I'm not sure what you were/are expecting.

You have a no start problem and have changed out a common failure part and it still doesn't start......fine. The next step would be to run some tests to find the actual problem. Whether you run these test or take the car to shop, someone is going to run them.

HT posted a good link to get you in the area where the trouble lies. But I guess you aren't interested in finding the problem and are just looking for something else to throw at it.... Well good luck. I'm sure you'll find a site that will give you some new ideas to toss at it........guessing can get expensive when you're wrong.......
