2001 Mazda MPV Anti Theft

Hi I am new to the forum,
I have a 2001 Mazda MPV. When I turn the key on the horn honks and lights flash. I have tried to disable but it will not. Anyone have a clue how to fix it.

is it a new/different key??? may have lost the programming. check your owners manual to see if there is a programming procedure.
in the mean time, pop the hood and disconnect the battery terminals for a while see if that resets the computer.
