Hello,

I have a 2001 Impala with approx 95k miles. The latest issue is I can't get the car to start without a jump. When I turn the ignition, I hear a series of clicks. It sounds like it's coming from the fusebox so I suspect a relay might be involved. While the clicking is happening, my car doors (power) attempt to lock/unlock and the needles on my instrument panel pulse in time with the clicks. Also, after I remove the key from the ignition, the clicking continues. Eventually, the clicking fades away. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Sad Dad

It sounds like your looking at a dead battery or low voltage issue due to a connection problem. You going to have to check all the connections at all the power sources in the engine compartment.

I agree with the poster above me, it sounds like it may just be a dead battery or loose connection. If that's not it, you might want to test your alternator next.
