2001 Hyundai accent accelerating issue

Hi there,
I have a 2001 Hyundai Accent, dohc I4 1.6, automatic
When I accelerate from a complete stop the car jerks, as if you were driving with someone who is just learning to drive standard. However, this doesn't happen all of the time, maybe 50% of the time, and only until I reach a speed of about 20km/h(12mph), after that the car runs perfectly fine, no problems shifting or starting. I recently put in some injector cleaner but it didn't make a noticeable difference.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

That could be a Mass Air flow sensor problem.

That likely won't help. Dirt isn't causing an issue that serious. You can try unplugging it. Most cars will default to to a substitute value then.

i have the same problem but cant find the maf sensor i have a accent 1.6 dohc and i see on the sohc its right after the air filter but i cant find it on my dohc. please help
