The rear of my van is out of alignment. I was told it it was just a little bit and wouldn't be a problem. The rear cannot be aligned. I have been through 3 pairs of tires for the rear of the van. What can I do??? I bought it used and they siad it had never been in an accident.

Hi Cindy
First ,How are the tires wearing?
Do the rear wheels lean in /out? Noticable?
How many miles do you get on a set?
Who told you it cannot be aligned?..what did they say might be the cause?
You can get a "CARFAX" report on this vehicle to check for any accident damage.
Heres what I think..
Take it in to a qualified body shop to have it inspected/ maybe your local dealer has one of its own ,if not they will have a shop that does their work.
See what the body shop says...they have the proper equipment to measure frames and things for this kind of situation.
Something is definitely not right.....
I'm not sure on the Windstar but some vehicles can be aligned in the rear as well.
Just my thoughts

The rear tires are almost bald on the inside up to the second line of tread. I got about 7,000 miles on this set of tires. The car dealership I bought it from told me it couldn't be aligned in the rear as well as a car repair shop. I will take it to a body shop as you suggested.

Hi Cindy and to add:
7,000 miles is ridiculous! It's way off and a body shop as Jim suggested should be able to just eye this and see where the problem is. Perhaps it's possible to bend back into spec or a part(s) replaced. If it needs an entire assembly - ask about "good used" stuff for parts. I don't think most would be bad in salvage vehicles and would be checked anyway,

I would take it to your local Ford dealer, I`m quite sure the rear wheels can be adjusted with shims. Dealer alignments aren`t always more expensive and are quite often cheaper that tire shops (beleive it or not). Ask for a print out of the specs from before and after, you may not know what they mean, but they dont know that!
