A hose has come loose on my 2001 chevy s10 pickup. There is suction coming from the hose. Oil is all over the underside of the motor, and when it is running, it dosent want to go any faster than 10 miles an hour no mater what gear its in or how much gas it is given. When you press the gas down all the way the motor will rev up but then chug back down.
The hose that has been disconnected one end of it is connected to a pump (I think) underneath a cooling fan on the passenger side. The other side of the pump has a hose that stretches and connects the top of the engine.
Where does the unconnected side of the hose connect?
And is that causing the truck to not run correctly?

I appreciate any help and advise!!!!

We have no idea what you are referring to and it certainly should not be driven until the situation is resolved. I suggest you have it towed to a reputable shop for diagnosis.
