2000 pontiac firebird wont turn over

my 2000 pontiac firebird wont turn over it acts as if its dead the dash lights and radio comes on but it wont turn over i have changed the battery and the brain and i had the alternator checked and i was told it was fine does any body have a idea of what might be wrong

I had this problem once and it turned out to be the cable on the starter had a bad connection. I cleaned it and it never gave me another problem. It made a clicking sound when I turned the key but never turned over. Also on another car I had a sticky starter that needed to be bumped with a hammer every so often. It could also be a bunch of other stuff but those are the most simple for now.
