Is it usable if we tow it into a shop or will it cost a ridiculous amount of money? It is still in really good condition on the outside and inside (except the dirt and muck). I don't know what tests need to be run and don't want to get ripped off because i know SQUAT about cars... Is it just worth throwing away?? edit..it does not have many miles on it. The fuel lines will have to be purged and injectors cleaned, as well. I would even recommend removing the fuel tank and having it cleaned, and replace the filter. My wife's car is a 2001 Stratus R/T which is the same car. 3.0L V-6. Although it only has 43000 miles on it, it has been, virtually, trouble free. It, also, has been maintained rather well. As far as 'being worth it', you'll have to make the decision on that. You can expect to spend anywhere from $500.00 to $1000.00 if no serious problems are found. Have it thouroughly inspected prior to 'starting' on it, so you'll have a more educated decision to make.
