"i just replaced head gaskets and timing chains and waterpump in a 2000 concorde with a 2.7 also put new plugs in it car wont start and now can only get 1 cylinder to fire? injectors are all working checked with diode lights and i checked and have 150lbs compression in each cylinder so timing should be correct all coil wire grounds are grounded i checked with a test light but only 1 cylinder makes the test light flash when i crank the engine?also the cruise light comes on when canking so i switched out the cam sensor but nothing changed."

Will it start if you unplug the cam sensor?

Did you install the new timing chain kit?

If you did, you may have the wrong cam sprocket. There are two different cam sprocket that have different windows for the cam sensor to read. One sprocket is for the NGC engine controller and the other sprocket is for the SBEC controller.

The signal that is produced by the cam sensor is dependent on the windows of the sprocket. Here is the cam signal differences between the two sprockets.

Only suggestion I can recommend, besides ripping the timing cover back off and inspecting the cam windows, is to connect a lab scope to the cam sensor signal circuit. Monitor the signal and make sure the signal matches one for an SBEC and is in sync with the crank sensor.

You can tell which sprocket it is by using those waveform captures above. The one with the 1,2,3,1,3,2 pattern is the correct sprocket for an SBEC.
