If this has the 4.3 liter engine it is fairly easy. The first thing to do is to remove the clutch fan. You will need a prybar and a big pair of channel locks to break the nut loose. Once the fan is off remove the belt and the water pump pulley. Remove the lower hose from the pump, the heater hose from the pump and the bypass hose from the pump. Now remove 4 water pump bolts and it's in your hand.
