You need to retract the tensioner pulley to get the belt back on. If you can't fake it with assorted tools these is a set that makes those easier, T Ps: Which engine? I can look up what it takes to retract the tensioner. How did you get it off anyway? You probably can just put a box wrench on the pulley's hex bolt and double up combination wrenches for distance leverage to retract. DON'T LEAVE THAT BOLT LOOSENED AT ALL!
