2000 Nissan Quest rear end shakes going over 65	Sign In

Back end shakes real bad going over 65. You can't feel it so much in the steering wheel but in the seats and on the floor. I replaced tires, even rotated tires and balanced them, put new wheel bearings, new breaks and new shocks. Any ideas?

For now put on your check list to inspect rear brakes! Yes - they can drag and get hot and give some wild feelings. Cause needs to be determined if the brakes are evenly worn and a wheel isn't warmer than the other side then probably not that. Sometimes parking brake cables or their ability to retract to off is the issue,

Thanks for the advice but right when you suggested the back breaks I edited my account and added back breaks.

OK - you did something to back brakes? What? Just linings or the whole enchilada? Rare but sometimes the pressure of fluid can't return to the master cylinder and takes some time and speed perhaps to show that ugly scene and if something like that those wheels would be warm or plain hot to the touch. Been there, done that with a defective master cylinder that refused to misbehave till I drove it quite a while and voila found it,
