2000 Mazda B2500 shifting problems

2000 Mazda B2500 single cab 4cylinder engine, manual transmission.
While driving one day i went to shift into 3rd gear and there was no responce, i then tried to shift into 4th gear and the same thing happend. Every other gear works fine but theres no pickup or responce when i put it into 3rd or 4th. I also dont have to use the clutch to get the stick to go into those gears. I have no clue what to do.

You may have a problem with the external shift linkage or possible shifting fork problem internally.

Is there anyway I could potentialy fix it? Or would i have to take it into the shop. And any idea price wise the fix would be?

If you're asking us what the problem is, it doesn't sound like you have the experience to repair anything yourself.

Or maybe is because im 17? No need to be hot headed, Im asking if i can order a part and just replace it, im not some numb nuts who has to get his oil changed for him.

dont think he was saying anything because of your age because age isnt viewable form post, and i dont think its even viewable at all, he wouldnt waste the time anyway, itsbecause ofthe way you asked, its your turn not to be hot headed, and a little tip, dont be mmouthy when asking for help, it jdoestn work in your favor.
