2000 GMC Jimmy 4.3L v-6 140,000 Last night I was at a party and she had us park on the lawn. As a backed up to leave, I had to go up driveway that was about 3inches above the ground. My back end made it over find but my front and got stuck. I couldnt get it over so I pulled foward and went over it fast. My whole car then made it over. A few hours later I started noticing when I turned there would be a rubbing/vibrating noise coming from the front of the car.It only happens when I turn and it seems to be worse when i turn one way then the other. also it seems like its harder for the car to turn.

I find it hard to believe that you would have trouble climbing over something only 3 inches high so I suspect it was a bit higher than that. You may have bent some steering linkage when climbing over it.. You need to get it up on a lift and inspect for damage. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
