My 2000 Dodge Caravan hesitates and starts to shake when I accelerate in cold weather or when I turn the AC on. It started a couple of years ago. I took it to the dealer a number of times which they recommended a tune up, fuel injection cleaning/replacement, etc. They didn't fix the problem. I was told to run it on the highway to clean out the carbon deposits and it should be ok. I have to warm it up for at least 10 minutes in less than 60 degree weather before I can drive it and when I try to accelerate quickly it hesitates and sputters. When I turn on the AC, the problem is immediate. I begin to crawl and sputters. I have to give it gas to accelerate and starts to hesitate again. Any help or recommendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like low fuel pressure and if you haven't, check that. Do you have a code showing? T

No codes. Once it warms up, it is driveable. I can accelerate slowly. It's when I want to accelerate quickly, then it sputters and hesitates. When I have the AC on, the problem is constant.

The A/C is an added load on the engine which may explain that. I can't think of anything A/C except an overcharge that would make a horrible load and would have broken something by now like the compressor or the belt. I still think this is a fuel delivery problem, T
