2000 Blazer Information Center HELP

Hello everyone,
I have a 2000 Blazer. It has been running great but i have had 1 problem that i cant seem to find a fix for. I can take it in to the dealer but id rather do that at last resort. Here is my problem:
About 2 weeks ago my Over head information center (Compass, MPG, range, all that info) The compass is working fine, but a few of the other options like Avg speed, mpg etc display a "-E-" I have read the Owner manual and cant seem to find anything about that. I know the "C" mean i need to calibrate my compass, i have dont that before. I have also tried to do a reset of the Info Center. That didnt work either. I am out of ideas...Does anyone else have any ideas or have experianced this before? Thanks for any help.
