Hi, I am very concerned!! My 1.4 Peugeot 206 '99 look has been misfiring and now has oil leaked underneath when parked up. I am a total girl novice and my first reaction is to panic!! I have checked the oil cap for white gunk and there is none and there are no warning lights on at all. Has been serviced regularly and had MOT in May. What could it be and what price would I be looking at to repair??! Mileage is around 116,000 and has had cambelt done too. Please help!!

total girl novice; Got to say, I love that. You need to find out what is causing the misfire. Being a '99, it should have OBDII computer. If it is misfiring, the computer should store 'trouble codes' that will direct the technician towards the failure. Could be as simple as a secondary ignition problem, assuming that this is a gas engine, and not a diesel. On the other hand, this car was made in France, so anything goes. Loren SW Washington
