1999 PLYMOUTH VOYAGER BALANCER REMOAL

I have an 1999 Plymouth Voyager with the 4 cyl. engine. I need to remove the balancer to replace water pump. Any ideas on how to remove it? There are no holes in it for conventional puller. Tried 3 jaw puller to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

This is remanisent of a 95 ford escort with a timing belt broken... in that case it was take it to a mechanic and spend 240.00 to get the belt replaced, with nothing to do on my part except drop it off and pick it up... Or, go to the dealer and buy the special wrench required to do the job (Looked alot like a 17mm wrench that someone took a tourch to.) at 85.00 and the special gizmo to hold the engine up at 150.00 and have to go through all the work myself.
Call the dealer and check if there is a special tool for the job.. then see if you can see one. If you're a little resourceful, you may be able to make something that will work. If not, see if the local Auto parts store has a tool loan program. After all that, see if the cost of the tools outweighs having the shop just do the work.
